Install Motorola USB Drivers on Windows 7.

Version 4.1.0 works with Windows 7.

Because the 3.9.0 drivers for Vista will not install on Windows 7 automatically (yet they work) and drivers package recognising Windows 7 is not yet available, here is a little workaroud:

a) Download 3.9.0 drivers for Windows Vista (x86 if you have 32-bit Windows or x64 if you have 64-bit Windows)
b) Rename the file to "MotoDrv.msi" and put it into the "C:\Driver" folder (create if not existing)
c) Press "Win + R" and type in "cmd". (Or simply open the command line)
d) Extract the MSI manually using this command: msiexec /a C:\Driver\MotoDrv.msi /qf TARGETDIR=C:\Driver\MotoDrv
e) Go to C:\Driver\MotoDrv\Common Files Folder\Motorola Shared\MotPCSDrivers and right click on Motorola Driver Installer.exe, hit properties and set compatibility to Windows Vista SP2.
f) Execute the Motorola Driver Installer.exe, check "Clean and Reinstall" and hit start.
g) Done.

Whenever you connect your phone and you get the message that device driver install failed do the following:

a) Open Control Panel, then open Device Manager and browse to Other devices, right click on the phone device and choose to manually install the driver
b) For the manual installation put the path: C:\Driver\MotoDrv\Common Files Folder\Motorola Shared\MotPCSDrivers
c) Done.
